Publishers Weekly

“Knight’s slangy prose is a perfect fit for characters whose dreams die slowly or explosively.”

Kirkus Reviews

“Unapologetically confrontational, grimly poignant; a gritty depiction of LA vice and vicissitude.”

Library Journal

“No-holds-barred noir from a writer to watch…”

Alta Journal

“What do the novelists Michael Connelly and James Ellroy have in common? They’re both L.A. crime writers who are from the city they write about. Now we can add another writer to the mix. Nolan Knight is a fourth-generation Angeleno who has established himself as a neo-noir writer to reckon with..”
